The 6th race

Salinas Speedway 6th and last race of 1999 the 3 hour race event.

 Cars and Drivers were flown in from different parts of the world for this race. The race started up nicely, it was our first event on water until we blew a rain tire. As luck will have it we also lost part of the fuselage due to the heavy amount of water. Given the two stops on the pits we began again to recover the lead. As we kept on going we went from last to first again. We were gaining about 1 second per lap, and after about four laps in first place, the fuselage gave in and the car stopped in its tracks. 

We did not complete this race, but we left all the people with one image
