:: Team Information - JORGE DIAZ JR RACING TEAM

The team consists of Jorge Diaz Sr, Millo Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Oscar Martinez, Diego Martinez, Edgardo Baerga, Babi Martinez and me, the driver.

Jorge Diaz Sr is my father. He is the team owner and the person with the heart of gold. Thanks to him I find myself behind the wheel of a race car and to his teachings I find myself with my ability. He is in charge of making sure that everything is working even before the race is announced. Thanks to his dedication we find ourselves prepared and never in a hurry. He is also the voice that guides me during the race through the in car radio system. He lets me know the lap times and when to speed up or head out at full potential. Kamikaze is the name we use to head out at full potential.
Millo Martinez is the head mechanic and crew chief. He makes sure the car responds so that it can be taken to the limit, guides the work on hand and makes sure every part of the car is at its peek of potential. He is great at making sure that when I feel the car with unbalanced inertia, either turning, braking, accelerating, or top speed that the problem is fixed quickly and professionally.
Carlos Martinez is a brother of Millo who just like his brother has learned a great deal about automobiles. He has a keen eye in finding the causes of any problems that might persist and the solutions. He is calm and gets the job done to perfection.     
Oscar Martinez is a son of Millo who is a very fast mechanic that probably would hold a few records in speed and agility. He can bend, stretch and reach his way through any part of the car and climb or crawl through any side or place and fix anything fast.
Babi Martinez works mostly on brakes, suspension and partially on the engine. He is one of the fastest guys in the team changing tires, with emergency work and getting everything organized when time is crucial.
Edgardo Baerga is the man of time. He helps with any work needed before the race, but when the race starts he grabs the time chart and glues his eye to my car. He can keep the time of at least three cars and know what happened in every lap. I find the chart impressive by the end of the race. So, lets see, I was a bit slower on such a lap because such a car was blocking, but passed on the straightaway, and my time was such, his was such and the guy behind was such. That sounds like his chart.

ALWAYS IN OUR MEMORIES
Diego Martinez one of the younger sons of Millo Martinez. Due to cancer he passed away. We race in Diego's memory. Diego will always be in our thoughts. Diego was the king of electronics on our race car and all around perfect friend. Diego will always be missed and will still be accounted for as a team member.

Although I wrote a little bit about the team I think that most importantly is that they all work like a team should. The key to this team is the dedication, teamwork, and communication we are accustomed to. Everyone reports to Millo, he knows were everyone is, what they are doing, and what has to be done. This way we do not miss anything, or any time. In this fashion we can also have everyone working evenly and ready for the next task.
