Question:
How did you get into racing? (Mark Quiles)
Answer: My father used to race, he had been the GTU champion
in 1988. I would watch all his races when I was little and always
wanted to participate. I always listened to his teachings and
once he felt I was ready we began. I believe that if you feel
secure and you anticipate you will do well. Just believe in yourself
until yourself believes in you.
Question:
Do you get scared? (Ruben Gonzalez)
Answer:
No. But if you want me to be honest, that's a lie. Anyone's heart
would pound heavily being side by side with a car at 140 miles
breaking for a curve. There is a big difference between being
smart and scared. Anyone telling himself that he does not at all
get scared gets no adrenaline high. The sensation of being scared
is what tells people when they have reached their cars limit.
Question:
Do you speed on the public streets? (Deb)
Answer:
I do not even know how to answer this. Laws are not meant to be
broken and you should obey all speed signs. Never drive above
your limit and specially not if you had something to drink. Never
ever put other drivers in danger. I think that anyone who knows
me could answer this question better than me.
Question: What car will you get now that you wish to go
up to GTS? (Carlos)
Answer:
Making the choice has not been easy. I am looking at several cars
and have not been able to take a close look at them. I hope that
we can go up to GTS next year. We just looked at the new Corvette
by Hoerr Racing and it looks really nice. Their are certainly
a lot of choices out their. Sorry I really can't be more specific
but I am not sure and I also want it to be a surprise. The first
people to know will be the ones in my mailing list.
